Eldorado Traverse
Description:
is a continuous ledge traverse over 6 km long between the cliff lines starting from the bluff known as Eldorado Walls above the Wolgan Road, south side of Newnes and continuing above and parallel to Capertee Creek. So named by Yuri Bolotin, Brian Fox and Michael Keats on a bushwalk, 12 September 2016. This traverse includes a number of slots and canyons stretching from this ledge to the top of the escarpment. One significant section is known as the Grand Balcony.
