Name:
Minotaur Tail
Description:
is where a compound pagoda-slot development reached a new apogee, a spectacular slot perhaps 50 m deep and no more than 1 m wide. At the base is a level floor that leads one deep into a bell-shaped chamber, 20 m long, 10 m wide and about 5 m high that is the forecourt to a deep notch and the magic of the Minotaur Tail. Located 700 m above and west of the main cliff line, and 2 km south west of the Wolgan River/Zobels Gully junction. Named by Brian Fox, Michael Keats and Yuri Bolotin on a bushwalk, 7 April 2016, in keeping with the Minotaur theme.
