Description:

This 5-day Colo Wilderness pack walk starts and finishes at the end of Grassy Hill Trail. Once down at the Colo, walk downstream and enter Tambo Creek. Walk upstream till about GR 682 150. Ascend northwards, enter Pinchgut Creek and follow it downstream to GR 692 180. Climb the ridge to the north and follow it eastwards, eventually finding a pass down to the Colo. No water needs to be carried, but there will be a different camp site every day. About 30 km. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.
