Bilpin, a small historic town situated along Bells Line of Road within a 1.5-hour drive from Sydney, is arguably the most accessible entry point into the spectacular and wild Wollemi National Park, part of the UNESCO-listed Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area.

Over years of methodical exploration of the area around Bilpin, the authors discovered an incredible variety of breathtaking and previously unseen geological features, together with spectacular lookouts, rainforest gorges, creeks and rivers, waterfalls, forests, mountain passes and historical relics of both the ancient Aboriginal culture and the more recent European settlers.

The book contains 28 unique, not previously published bushwalks, as well as a Concise History of Bilpin and a Local History of Logging and Sawmilling. It is illustrated with maps and hundreds of colour photographs.
