Is is part of the Koopartoo Mesa complex. Located 1.3 km west of the Wolgan River and Zobels Gully junction. This rock-encircled room is about 40 m long and 2 m wide. Positioned next to Ariadne Thread and Theseus Slot. Named by Yuri Bolotin on a bushwalk, 22 August 2017 in keeping with the mythology theme of these names, ie Minotaur Lair, Ariadne Thread, etc. King Minos was the King of Crete and the father of Ariadne; he built the labyrinth to house the Minotaur.
